NEED FOR HOLISTIC QUALITY EDUCATION

We at NGI have set our Mission to provide the real-time Holistic Quality Education to all the students at our Neelkanth Institutes and Colleges. Holistic Education is about unlocking mindsets and putting to rest preconceived notions that impede progress. NGI has introduced at graduation as well as post-graduation level a busy schedule of academic and extra-curricular activities and value added training in soft skills, social graces, presentations skills etc. The Students are educated as to how to derive their goals and aims. Self-Discovery and Self-Assessments must help the students to carry out self-analysis of strong and weak traits in their personality. Traits specific to their career goals are the keys to success of the students. The Students are taught to wherewithal to sell themselves to the Industry.

TASKS BEFORE OUR EDUCATORS

What is required in the job market is much more than a degree certificate. To fullfill those requirements we have transformed our teachers as Educatorswhich means that their task is not only to teach but make the student to earn his future job. We follow the dictum – “If the student has not learnt, the teacher has not taught.” Therefore we ensure that our students must go through a learning experience that cares for their future.

FOCUS ON SKILL DEVELOPMENT

One part of educating a student is to give him the knowledge of his intended profession and the other part is to develop the skill component of his profession. We focus equal weightage on knowledge and skill development. The quality of a nation depends on the quality of its educators and the youth. Their quality depends on the quality of education they get. Finally the quality of education depends on the knowledge and the skills of teachers. NGI have accepted the responsibility of providing knowledge as well as develop the skills of its students. Then and only then will the students get the value for their money. Hence we create the most efficient Learning environment in which the students are encouraged to think creatively, rationally and express their thoughts critically.
